“Poor man’s steadicam”

By /// dawn Print Preview

Check this out: steadycam.org

Build it yourself for $14 bucks. Or order it premade for $40

Built for smaller prosumer cameras - and DSLRS - it's a cheap way to affect your stability and motion with this advent of DSLR like bodies that shoot HD video.  $14 probably sounds good after you pay $2G's for a camera body + lenses.  And audio.  And memory cards.

My friend is going to use it on a documentary shoot in India this fall.  Will report back.
