Gaff Tape A.C. dog

Gaff Tape A.C. dog

While looking through old hard drives in search of photos for the upcoming exhibition, I came across this 'Assistant Camera' dog made entirely out of gaff tape.  It was the collaborative work of many an A.C. on a show done long ago called 'Amish in the City'.  Yah, that show.  We had a lot of time on our hands in the tech room.

A detail of the fine workmanship of the gaff tape.  Here we see the A.C. dog holding a 15 inch keno flo (daylight bulb) , with the ballast attached to him, and a battery strapped with a brick to 4 pin connector.  Those were the days, when AC's carried lights with them everywhere and anywhere.  We all had different ways to strap that ballast on and keep the keno in some sort of holster at a moments notice.

Another detail.  Extra pre-labeled tapes, canned air and a 6-in-1 reflector.

If you've done fun things with too much time in the tech room and lots of colors of gaff tape, send them in and share with us.  (to photos@iworkinrealitytv.com)
